Sláinte Technologies has continued its expansion with the opening of a sales office in California, United States. "This move is on the back of significant market interest in our products from the US" says Sláinte founder and CEO, Andrew Murphy. "There certainly is a strong appetite for the level of innovation we bring to the market, and we are excited about our expansion into the US" "Our products are so easy to implement that we can make a major impact on how our clients' healthcare facilities operate within a matter of weeks. Our experience and flexible product range ensures substantial ROI for our clients, which is the reason for our rapid growth despite the general market recession" "The primary focus of the US office is to promote the use of the Formsure application, allowing healthcare facilities to rapidly go paperless - improving efficiency and patient care as a result" he adds. We are also planning our Claimsure launch for the US market in Q2 2010, with a sales and distribution partner already selected. The product will launch at the HFMA Exhibition in June 2010 (www.hfma.org). |

Sláinte is preparing for rapid expansion in 2010 to support its growing business. Headquartered in Dublin, and incorporated in late 2006 the company is expecting to add 15-20 full-time roles over an 18 month period to support rapid rollout of exiting products and to invest further in its research and development of new and existing products. Andrew Murphy, CEO states: "Like most businesses, we have been reasonably prudent in our recruitment policy over the past 12 months, even though we have grown our workforce in that period. However, given the pipeline of 2010 activity, we feel that now is the time to hire the key staff that will allow us to maintain our excellent focus on client delivery as our installed base expands and as we enter new markets." "The roles we will be filling will be a mix of technical roles, as well as some key middle management roles. We will also be hiring to support our sales and marketing effort, particularly to grow our overseas market penetration. We will continue our graduate support program, where we take interns in that ultimately become full-time employees on graduation" "These are exciting times for the company, and we are extremely well positioned to expand considerable in the coming months and years. We believe that we will be in the vanguard of a dramatic shift of how ICT directly contributes to improved healthcare delivery in all markets." |

Slainte has signed a partnership with Motion Computing, which gives Slainte distribution rights to the MotionComputing innovative tablet hardware. As part of the arrangement, MotionComputing will promote Slainte's Formsure software in the North American market.
Andrew Murphy, Slainte CEO states: "We encountered MotionComputing at a conference in Vancouver this year, and it was very obvious from the beginning that our software and their hardware was a perfect combination for ward-based electronic record capture. In fact many of the features of the software such as barcode patient identification and free-hand note capture could not have been tailored more perfectly to the Motion C5 tablet in particular."

Slainte Technologies launched its Formsure Workflow engine during its two-day exhibition at the MUSE EU conference in Manchester, UK.
"MUSE is an organisation that is very important to us, so we feel it only right that we should continue to be strong supporters of the conference and exhibition. Many of our sites are MEDITECH users, and the exhibition gives us an opportunity to interact closely with them, see where their pain points are and allow us to demonstrate how our products can solve such issues" according to Integration Manager Dominic Green

Slainte Technologies has launched a premium version of its Formsure software at a healthcare technology event in Manchester, UK.
The version of Formsure not only comes with all the standard features already in the market, but has now a highly flexible and configurable workflow engine, to drive consistent work patterns and streamlined processes across client sites.
"One of the elements that we were concious of when designing the solution was that we had observed that a lot of mini-processes within healthcare were quite standardised. However with the numbers of different potential configurations, we decided that rather than our system being prescriptive on workflows, that we hand the facility to the client to configure as complex or as simple workflows as possible" according to Slainte CEO Andrew Murphy
"With the workflow wizard you can combine multiple document types, and assign responsibilities at a field level, so that everyone is aware of any outstanding tasks. There is full accountability at all stages in the process, with task lists automatically generated for users. We've tested that this functionality can allow processes as critical as care pathways to be dealt with, while also addressing consistent administrative process. There is no end to the applicability of this solution" he added.
