Sláinte Technologies has announced that it has accepted an investment package from Enterprise Ireland to fund further research and development activity. This will assist Sláinte to continue its overseas expansion in UK and US healthcare markets.
The deal was finalised in recent weeks, following Sláinte's adoption into the HPSU (High Performance Start Up) Unit within the state investment body. Andrew Murphy notes, "As CEO and founder, I am very statisfied to have concluded such a significant funding round and attracted the investment of close to €1M in such a challenging investment climate. The fact that we were able to reject investment offers as part of this funding round demonstrates the strength of the company's business plan and performance to date".
"It validates the extent to which Slainte has delivered strong growth in only two years in operation and is an appreciation of the potential we have to expand considerably, based on a track record of delivering on our promises. We have gained significant traction in the Irish market, but EI's involvement is already starting to help us in our growth into the UK, with two clients now signed up for different projects." |
